The tray agent is a real Windows program for company-owned PCs. Download the installer, run it, and paste the invite from Team (or open the /join link). Canonical site: visiblehours.com.

This installer is unsigned

VisibleHours-Setup.exe is a prebuilt unsigned PE. Windows SmartScreen will warn (“Windows protected your PC”). That is expected. Choose More info → Run anyway. Code signing is Operations-only and is not in this download. Do not hide the tray icon to get around the warning — the icon is how people know tracking is on.

Before anyone runs Setup.exe on a company PC, send the employee notice. Signed-in Help has the same steps at /help/download.

On the company Windows PC

Send the employee notice first.
Download VisibleHours-Setup.exe (or the portable exe).
SmartScreen → More info → Run anyway. The warning is expected on this unsigned build.
Finish the one-click installer. The tray icon should appear.
Paste the API URL and invite from Team, or open the /join link Operations copied.
Leave the icon visible. Pause and quit stay one click.

After install — idle, pause, reconnect

Idle is no keyboard or mouse after the minutes Operations sets. The tray closes that Idle block and tracks again on its own. Pause is one click on the tray — Resume is the same menu. A network blip keeps activity queued and shows an honest error; the tray retries. Last-seen and Offline live on Team after you sign in. This page cannot push the agent onto every PC.

After sign-in, Ask “install windows agent” or “download setup” returns here. Ask “reconnect agent” or “agent offline” opens Team. Ask “idle minutes” opens Settings. Ask “windows agent tutorial” opens Help. Public search stays on this page — it will not install the agent for you.
