Shift and PTO calendar basics

Signed-in Operations puts planned hours on a Monday–Sunday week grid and records time off as PTO, sick, unpaid, or holiday. Approve or deny pending requests. This is the planned week — not tracked time, not meetings. Tracked minutes still come from the tray agent. There is no day view. Not Google Calendar sync, not Outlook certified, and not an AI meeting bot. VisibleHours does not sync Google Calendar or Outlook. It is not a timesheet and not a client-code allocation. Site search will not fill a week for you. Seats stay $7 / seat — this page does not start checkout.

Public Search “calendar”, “open calendar”, “week view”, “schedule”, “how to use calendar”, or “calendar tutorial” stays here. It will not open the signed-in grid. After you sign in, Ask “calendar”, “open calendar”, or “schedule” opens Calendar; “week view” opens /calendar#grid; “add a shift” opens /calendar#add-shift; “add time off” opens /calendar#add-pto; “approve pto” opens /calendar#queue; “how to use calendar” or “calendar tutorial” opens Help. Ask “sync Google Calendar”, “Outlook certified”, “AI meeting bot”, “meeting sync”, or “competitor calendar clone” is refused.

  1. Sign in and open Calendar — the Monday–Sunday week grid is the only view.
  2. Add a shift for a person and a date. That cell is the plan, not a meeting.
  3. Add time off. New requests start pending.
  4. Approve or deny. Approved days show on the grid.

What this is not

  • Not tracked time. Minutes still come from the Windows tray.
  • Not meetings. Cells are planned shifts and PTO you typed.
  • Not a day view or a month view. The live screen is a Monday–Sunday grid.
  • Not a timesheet. Approved payroll weeks live on Timesheets.
  • Not client-code allocation. That lives on Projects.
  • Not a change to the Windows tray. Approving PTO does not hide the icon.
  • Not Google Calendar sync, not Outlook certified, and not meeting sync. Ask “sync Google Calendar”, “Outlook certified”, or “meeting sync” is refused.
  • Not a scheduling AI or an AI meeting bot. Ask “AI meeting bot” is refused.
  • Not a competitor calendar clone. Ask “competitor calendar clone” is refused.
  • Not a done-for-you planner. Public Search will not fill a week for you.
