Weekly insights without a live model

Insights is a Monday–Sunday rollup of tracked time: week score (productive ÷ classified when a rule labeled a window — the same arithmetic as daily Scores), a seven-day trend, and one template coaching note per person. The text is a VisibleHours reading of your numbers. It is not a live language model, not AI workforce insights, and not a forecast of who will quit. Site search on this site is the same idea — curated answers and links, not an open inbox.

The public page is /features/insights. Signed-in steps live on the insights tutorial. Ask VisibleHours “insights”, “open insights”, “analytics”, “reports overview”, or “weekly summary” opens Insights. Ask “insights tutorial” or “how to use insights” opens the signed-in tutorial. Public Search stays on the feature page and will not write a performance review. Ask “AI workforce insights” or “predict who will quit” is refused.

Read the week, then open the timeline

1. Write URL and app rules first. Without a label there is no score to summarize.
2. Open Insights. Previous / Next moves a Monday–Sunday week.
3. The trend chart is productive, unproductive, and idle minutes per day.
4. Read each coaching note, then open that person’s timeline.
5. Need the rows? Exports still downloads CSV.

The disclaimer on Insights is the source of truth: not a live model, not outreach. VisibleHours does not email employees from that screen. A note is not a hidden rating. Employees still see pause and quit.

What this is not

• Not a live language model. The copy on Insights says so.
• Not AI workforce insights and not predictive attrition.
• Not a replacement for daily Scores or the shift calendar.
• Not a manager CSV. Download those from Exports.
• Not an email draft. Site search will not write outreach from a coaching note.
• Not a performance review. Ask “please write me a review of this employee” is refused.
