The week grid is shifts and PTO — not Google or Outlook sync
Calendar is a Monday–Sunday week grid you type. Not Google Calendar sync, not Outlook certified, and not an AI meeting bot. Tracked minutes still come from the tray.
Calendar is a Monday–Sunday week grid of planned shifts and PTO. You type the hours. VisibleHours does not sync Google Calendar or Outlook, does not certify a mailbox connector, and does not run an AI meeting bot. Cells are the plan — not tracked time, not meetings, and not a second tray.
Read /features/calendar, then the signed-in calendar tutorial. Ask VisibleHours “calendar”, “open calendar”, “week view”, or “schedule” jumps to Calendar. “How to use calendar” or “calendar tutorial” opens Help. Ask or Search “shift grid guide”, “week grid guide”, or “pto grid guide” stays on this article. “calendar guide” still opens the shift and PTO calendar guide— that piece is the planned week and the visible tray. Ask “sync Google Calendar”, “Outlook certified”, “AI meeting bot”, or “please fill my calendar for me” is refused. Public Search will not fill a week for you.
Type the week. Do not connect a mailbox.
- Sign in and open Calendar. The only view is a Monday–Sunday grid.
- Add a shift for a person and a date — start and end on that day’s cell.
- Add time off as PTO, sick, unpaid, or holiday. New rows start pending.
- Approve or deny. Approved days show on the grid. Click a shift to remove a typo.
Tracked minutes still come from the Windows tray agent. Approving PTO does not hide the icon. There is no day view and no month view in this slice. Approved payroll weeks stay on Timesheets. Client codes stay on Projects.
What this is not
- Not Google Calendar sync. There is no OAuth into a mailbox calendar.
- Not Outlook certified and not a meeting invite importer.
- Not an AI meeting bot or a scheduling assistant. You type the hours.
- Not tracked time. The tray still records the company PC.
- Not a timesheet and not a client-code allocation.
- Not a done-for-you planner. Site search will not staff the week.
