Operations home is today’s roster, not a payroll week
After sign-in you land on Team: today’s people, online, tracked, idle, then the roster. Timesheets is Monday–Sunday payroll. Insights is the weekly reading.
After sign-in you land on Team. That screen is the operations home: today’s people, who is online, tracked time, idle share, then the roster. Those four numbers plus the roster are the whole pulse — not a scores widget and not a screenshot gallery. It is not Timesheets (a Monday–Sunday payroll week) and not Insights (a weekly headline and coaching notes). There is no separate dashboard route and no attention inbox. “Who needs attention” means read idle, paused, or last-seen on the roster.
Team is a signed-in screen. Public Search “open dashboard”, “who is online”, “team”, or “how to use team” stays on /download. After you sign in, Ask “open dashboard”, “operations home”, “who needs attention”, “today’s activity”, “today’s overview”, or “team overview” opens Team. Ask “team”, “open team”, “employee timeline”, “who is online”, or “view person” opens the same roster. Ask “dashboard tutorial”, “how to read the dashboard”, “how to read today’s activity”, “today’s activity tutorial”, or “team overview tutorial” opens the operations home tutorial. Ask “how to use team”, “team tutorial”, or “employee timeline tutorial” opens the Team tutorial. Ask “live GPS map of all employees”, “hidden team spy view”, or “competitor HRIS clone” is refused. Ask “please tell me who needs attention” or “please write my standup” is refused.
Read today, then pick the other week
- Sign in. VisibleHours opens Team — the operations home.
- Read Today: people in this organization, heartbeats in the last eight minutes, tracked seconds (active + idle), and idle as a share of tracked time. Online is not a live map.
- Scan the roster for idle, paused, or a stale last-seen. Click a name for that person’s day. Invites stay on the same screen.
- Need a daily percentage? Open Scores — productive ÷ classified when labels exist, not AI. Need an approved payroll week? Open Timesheets. Need a written weekly reading? Open Insights. Need a date-range CSV? Open Exports. Screenshots and recordings list on a person’s day, not on this overview.
Empty today with people on the roster means no heartbeat has landed — not a hidden watcher. Empty Timesheets is “no draft for that Monday–Sunday.” Empty Insights is “no classified time to summarize.” Those are different empty states.
What this is not
- Not a live GPS map of all employees and not an attention queue.
- Not a hidden team spy view. The Windows tray stays visible.
- Not a competitor HRIS clone. This roster is today’s pulse, not payroll HR.
- Not payroll approval, not a coaching essay, and not AI scoring.
- Not a screenshot gallery. Shots and recordings stay on a person’s day.
- Not a public page. Site search will not open the roster.
- Not outreach. VisibleHours will not rank people or mail a standup.
