# VisibleHours

> Windows tray time tracking for company-owned PCs. The tray stays visible. Pause and Quit are one click.

VisibleHours records which apps people used and when they were idle. Screenshots and screen-recording sessions stay off until Operations turns them on — interval stills (blur on by default when stills are on; Keep screenshots ships at 30 days) or a short clip/upload (weekday window ships 09:00–17:00; Keep sessions ships at 14 days; ~2 seconds / 32 MB), not hidden capture and not an always-on DVR. Stills and recording clips list on a person’s Team timeline when enabled — not a gallery on the Team pulse. Send the employee notice at https://visiblehours.com/notice before anyone runs Setup.exe.

The installer is unsigned VisibleHours-Setup.exe. SmartScreen is expected (More info → Run anyway). There is no Mac or Linux agent and no Microsoft Store, App Store, or Play Store app.

Slack, Jira, and Asana connect with OAuth when client IDs are set. Zapier is a Catch Hook URL you paste — not a published Zapier app, not Zapier OAuth, and not a marketplace listing. Scores are productive ÷ classified minutes for one calendar day — arithmetic on labels you wrote, not AI scoring, not a black-box coach, and not machine-learning fiction. After sign-in: /scores#alerts, /scores#threshold, /scores#people. Team pulse is four today numbers plus roster, not a scores gallery. Insights is a Monday–Sunday rollup of tracked time, not AI coaching and not a chatbot manager. After sign-in: /insights#summary, /insights#trend, /insights#notes. Calendar is a Monday–Sunday week grid of planned shifts and PTO — not tracked time, not meetings, and not Google or Outlook sync. Projects is client codes, optional tasks, and hour allocations that feed a Timesheets draft — not a project-management suite, not a Jira or Asana clone, and not billing invoices. Timesheets are a Monday–Sunday draft from allocations: submit, then approve or reject, then payroll CSV — not auto-pay, not ADP certified, not QuickBooks sync, not idle or app time. After sign-in: /timesheets#week, /timesheets#payroll, /timesheets#sheets. Exports are three CSVs on /reports (activity, productivity, allocated-hours) for a from–to date range. After sign-in: /reports#date-range, /reports#activity, /reports#productivity, /reports#allocations. Idle and apps live on the activity file, not a fourth CSV. Not a warehouse, not SFTP, not QuickBooks sync, not ADP export certified, not a payroll warehouse.

The signed-in operations home is Team: today’s people, online (eight-minute heartbeat), tracked time, and idle share, then the roster. That pulse does not show scores or a screenshot gallery. Scores live on /scores (/scores#alerts, /scores#threshold, /scores#people). Screenshots and recordings list on a person’s Team timeline only if Operations turns them on.

Signed-in Settings shows org timezone honesty (no picker), idle minutes, screenshot interval stills (default off; blur on by default when stills are on; Keep screenshots ships at 30 days), and $7 seats on Settings · Billing. There is no live Stripe Checkout until keys are set. Recording session knobs live on /recordings (default off; weekday window 09:00–17:00; Keep sessions 14 days). $7 / seat / month is shown. This site does not start checkout. Create an organization at /signup — one org per signup isolation; new orgs start in trial without a card and stay isolated. Employees use /join. Existing managers use /login. There is no /register route.

Public Help tutorials are crawlable.
